Children are natural problem solvers. They ask WHY thousands of times as they see and learn more about the world. Engineering is a discipline rooted in problem-solving. It uses science, technology, engineering, and math-related concepts to solve the problems of today. Growin’GEERS takes an engineering approach to problem-solving to enrich a child’s problem-solving abilities while introducing them to the world of engineering. By accompanying Flynn, our young and curious friend, throughout her adventures, your students will be introduced to different engineering concepts and disciplines to help them think creatively, learn engineering concepts, and apply new problem-solving skills. Come experience a sample quest as you complete a mini engineering activity and provide feedback to perfect the design of this exciting, new concept.
