Based on the best-selling book of the same name by Austin Kleon and my own experience following the advice given, this presentation will cover how teachers can make an impact larger than their campus or district by creating and maintaining an online presence through social media and their own personal website.

Included are the ideas of: [1] Think process, not product (share out your sketches, pictures, inspirations, tools); [2] Sharing something small everyday (no lunch or latte, but what you are doing that could benefit others!) ; [3] Tell good stories (brief, personal, audience) [4] Teach what you know (techniques, tutorials, reading lists, create website); [5] Don't turn into spam (can't just point to own stuff, must connect others to others, go to meetups IRL) ; [6] Learn to take a punch (avoiding trolls, controlling comments)
