Limited Capacity seats available

This session will share experiences with iPad integration in the classroom and focus around instructional design, rather than hardware and applications. We examine and explore instructional design with technology and develop conversations around how to plan lessons and units that shift learning from a passive, to an active experience. Participants will go through a prototyping session and design a lesson or unit that engages students brains actively during peak learning moments in the classroom. Additionally, participants will learn how to think spatially and design lessons that include every piece of the learning space. Ultimately, this process requires a cultural shift in how schools integrate professional development, how teachers innovate in the classroom, and how students are motivated and challenged to learn.
