Limited Capacity seats available

Journey with me through the digital jungle as we seek the way, the Tao, of learning! In working to improve the learning experience, many seek answers in the form of artifacts or arcane texts never knowing that what they seek lies within, within ourselves and within our learners. Yet, before we can tap into the passion of learners so that we might create participatory experiences, engage reluctant learners, reward hard chargers or recognize growth and ability over time regardless of age, experience, or discipline, we must first understand the learner’s culture. Learn to look with the eyes of a digital anthropologist, to see your learners for who they truly are. Together we will explore gamification, gamer psychology, motivation, passion and start to develop tools to discern how our own learners identify themselves so that we can better personalize the learning experience both in and out of the classroom.
